In the News: 2018

Each year we have events that are very well reported in the Bathurst local newspaper, the Western Advocate.  Thanks to the Advocate for their ongoing support of our organisation, and for making it possible to view those articles on our website, which were published in 2018.

  • Early December, 2018:An advertisement was placed in Bathurst City Life. A poor quality scan is viewable here.
  • November 27, 2018: Peter Winter is interviewed on 2BS on the upcoming Christmas Party.
  • September 12, 2018: Peter has submitted two enthralling articles, one on anxiety, and one on the ageing brain.
  • August 27, 2018: Peter’s latest article for Bathurst City Life mentions some new courses under consideration, and a request for facilitators to run them.

  • July 29, 2018: Peter’s 15th article (has he written 15 already? He’s a busy chap.) for the Bathurst City Life is about Happiness.
  • July 10, 2018: An interesting article on Men’s Health, as discussed in the Current Affair class, was submitted to Bathurst City Life.
  • June 25, 2018: Peter submitted three articles for the Bathurst City Life. Find out how Table Tennis can help with anxiety and depression. The Current Affair class discussed health advice for prostrate cancer. Read what Pelican Pete wrote about it here.
  • June 5, 2018: Peter has provided us with some important information in his Health and Vitality article for Bathurst City Life.
  • May 28, 2018: Peter submitted an article to Bathurst City Life, on the courses on Music and Singing.
